Crappy/Spectacular Volume 1: The Grand Debut

Do you know what this is? It’s a video. It’s a video of us, sitting on the red couch in my apartment, talking about theater.

This week’s topics: Love Never Dies, Joyful Noise, and the impending television megastardom of Andrew Rannells.

I say “this week’s” because there will hopefully be a “next week’s,” but this is all a bit of an experiment for now. Topics, format, production values, and beverage and clothing choices are subject to change. Enjoy… or at least bear with us…

I GIVE THIS POST A “SPECTACULAR”! MORE VLOGGING!!!!

Yeah, definitely spectacular. Although I disagree about JOYFUL NOISE. That movie was craptacular. It was bad and yet why couldn’t I stop smiling? Because Jeremy Jordan was all over that ish. See some of the terrible movies Michael Esper is in and you’ll get more perspective on this.

You two should seriously consider starting a podcast. You could talk about anything and everything you see, dream castings, top fives and the like. I’ve listened to theater podcasts before, but I think you two are the only people who I’d listen to consistently, regardless of the topic.

Anyway, great vid. Andrew Rannells and Jeremy Jordan are both super sparkly and Love Never Dies might just be the next fine mess Broadway never knew she needed.

    Most importantly, bitchin’ couch.

I knew I liked you gals based on your writing….now I just want to be your best friend. I also rate your vlog “SPECTACULAR.”

    Love it.

“anything Jeremy Jordan is spectacular” – Amen!

My only disappointment is “Walk Away Renee” didn’t make the soundtrack… My dad brought home the original 45 for me, because, of COURSE, I thought it was written for ME. (Yes, I am THAT OLD)….
Too funny to be Fan-Girling with my 18 year old daughter over JJ …. 😉

    Love your blog!

I’ve just discovered your blog and I’ve just discovered you two poppets! Love you! Gotta say, if the Broadway Love Never Dies is like the Melbourne one, you will have to take your Craptacular meter up to a whole new level!

Looking forward to many more visits :)

Hey girls, great podcast and it’s lovely to see you so enthusiastic in person! Speaking from England, I just wanted to encourage you to get tickets for the Brit transfer of ‘One Man Two Guvnors’ when it lands on Broadway with the original cast. It is the funniest thing ever. There’s not a lot of eye candy but it is sidesplitting. I know you ladies are great anglophiles and will find it comedy gold! In the WE it’s as sold out as Mormon in NY.
    Keep up the good work!
BTW at the moment Ripped Ramin and Hot Hadley Fraser are in Les Mis in London – boo hiss for them being fully clothed throughout the show. Surely they could be topless on the barricade? It’s a fan girls dream……
